Ps3 is sold with the option FREE online gameplay
somewhere over in ireland a man bought a Ps3 at a strore cuz it had the abilty for OtherOS so he updated it and saw that OtherOS was removed , he got back to the store and got $100 as a comparison ( dont know the site where i found it anymore )
if they make PSN paid then almost all people owning a Ps3 and have a Brain will stand up and Sony will make a HUGE loss !
another thing : Free PSN is the thing that made Ps3 big if they remove it sony will go down
let me think what you think about it

You say the Free Online Gamplay is an OPTION, I highlighted it in your quote, they have every right to start charging, they also have every right to remove it.
They will also make hardly any loss at all, having to pay people that is (but they will lose money from the amount of downloads they receive), if they say in an update that PlayStation network will become a paid for service, then thats it, you cannot complain. Look how many Social Networking sites have been free from the start then they suddenly started charging people to use their service.
It's the same for any company, they can provide a free service, but they have every right to start charging for that service.
Please, start taking Business lessons.

i post that info yesterday about the guy who won the case against sony but nobody took notice really all because psn is down lol

Not true, the PS3 in GBP (£) is £175-£190, the xbox is roughly the same.
If you find it costing any more in Britain (with no games included), they are ripping you off. If you buy it, you are god damn stupid.

i ment a new console :p my first Ps3 a 40GB bought when Ps3 came out has cost me 700 euro but that was the very first Ps3 when it just came out , Ps3 is allot cheaper right now and with all the banned consoles the price dropped even more !
check ebay for 3.55 consoles and check the price , its insane how cheap they are atm :p

A new console is £190, which is why I put £175-190 /facepalm
Old model is £170 and new is £190
