PSN is free yess. But Im a PSN plus member, so I hope they compensate me for those 3 or 4 days, or however many days they are down. Its not really a big deal to me though lol

sony wont compensate any1 because of psn being down

u cant be compensated for something u havent paid for

unless that is that u bought psn+ and even sony have an offer that u get 15months for the price of 12

so your extra 3 months counts as a bonus and they will proabably use that as an excuse to not have to pay you anything in damamges

because they have given u 3 months free

For those of you who pay for PS+ and/or Qriosity, call them after it's back up, if you're polite, I am almost certain they will credit your billing period for the time it was down. That would be standard business practice. If you call them having a raging fit, you will more than likely get nothing, and that would be what you deserve.

As a normal user, they don't owe me anything. Saying that they do owe you something, would be like expecting NGU to compensate you if they experience downtime.

although what sony should do for how ever long the psn is down for is

for any new ps3 bought in the store whilst the psn is down should be discounted by say £50 because the reason for buying the console would be to play online

so seeing as psn is down and for how long we dont know

the ps3 will be incapapble of accessing online features and isnt functioning to its advertised abitilities
