Everyone thinks they are doing this on purpose, or something along those lines. Let me tell you, that is not true. They could turn PSN back on, but there would be consequences. Here is a statement made by them:

We are doing all we can to resolve this situation quickly, and we once again thank you for your patience. We will continue to update you promptly as we have additional information to share.

The reason PSN is not up, is because the servers were breached. Whoever breached it, would have access to accounts and CC info. They had to shut down the servers, to prevent it being leaked. Right now, they are working on finding the breach, and fixing it so people don't lose info.

That is all, stop hating, it will be on when they re secure the servers from hackers.

They don't care about psn users because it's a free service. They don’t care about ps+ users either. Point in hand, they don't care about the users; or as you say, fans.

Dont tell anyone.. but the real reason PSN is down is because the aliens are coming.. but shhhhh.
