So i was looking around and i found this, apparently, mw3 is rumoured to be getting rid of 2nd chance.

Although this is a community idea, that may or may not be listened too, at least we know there is some chance that it will be gone for good
I personally find it annoying, since i always get a guy drop on final stand when im on a multi spray and He gets me while i move on to the other guy, when i think he was about to die.

As first person shooter games evolve, more and more emphasis is paid to realism. There are three fronts to this search for the shooter genre’s realism holy grail–environment, weapons realism, and video realism.
Just like with the other realism-intensive genre of racing games, FPS games often can only hit one of the key realism targets relatively well while the other elements remain mediocre. The closest FPS I’ve seen to meeting all three realism goals is the not yet released Battlefield 3. All others succeed on one point but fail on the other two. When it comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the Second Chance feature gets the most flak for being the most unrealistic feature of the game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s Second Chance works like this–when a character is shot, he gets a chance to aim at and shoot at you.
Sure, this happens in real life but where Call of Duty gets unrealistic is that a character gets this “Second Chance” regardless of where he got hit. Ridiculous, right? While we can understand a person being able to peel off a short or two if that character got hit in the arm or leg or other extremity, Second Chance would be wholly unrealistic if the person got shot in the chest or head. Call of Duty doesn’t make a distinction between such wounds. Totally ruins the realism in the eyes of many FPS fans. Solutions for Second Chance include taking it out entirely from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or at least increasing the delay time before a struck character can shoot some rounds.
