The bans on Black Ops are from the publishers own servers. Completely seperate from the PSN servers.

And even if it would have happened to be Sony that had banned you from Black Ops then they would keep the list of banned consoles on record and add them to the new server....

You guys are all morons. You are banned by PSID. In other words, there's a possibility you will be assigned a new PSID when connecting to the new servers, hence unbanning you, only time will tell, I'll be trying this out.

NO those bans were dealt buy 3arc servers. Furthermore they CONSOLE banned so a I honestly don't think so.

However I don't know and neither do you. I understand you're banned so you have to think positive but doesn't mean others are "morons". Just like the "3arc will unban when maps come out" was proven false. I also don't get why rebuilding servers potentially means a new PSID.

IF they do unban I hope people don't sign in with those hacked accounts.

It is a fact that you're banned by PSID. Remember all those randoms trying to change their PSID to get online, yep, it's proven you're banned by PSID, in other words console banned. When you connect to the PSN for the first time you are assigned a PSID and it will not be changed after that, so my theory is when connecting to a NEW server the only thing that will be transfered over is our existing PSN accounts and we will be assigned NEW PSID's hence being unbanned on black ops.

I hope so, this seems very practical and not too far fetched, Im hoping we'll get unbanned, I don't even know why I got console banned Im a level 32 no prestige....:mad: I did boost ONCE and got reset but that's it..... So thank you very much for this post you've brought my hopes up

Lol no problem but i guess we will see what happens when PSN comes back up im hoping to be unbanned. And plus another reason i think its possible to be unbanned is because sony is not going to take a list of 50,000 consoles that were banned. They owe it to us anyway for the psn "Maintenance"
