The PlayStation Network has been down for a while now and reports had recently emerged that user’s credit card details were potentially at risk. Now, someone has had $600 in fraudulent withdrawals from their debit card this weekend that was linked to his PSN account.

I had $600 dollars in fraudulent withdrawals this weekend out of the debit card that I had associated with my PSN account. I do not know if it was related, but just a heads up.

So, it seems there’s a massive possibility that PSN user’s credit card details are indeed at risk; judging by the person above who stated his account had $600 taken out without his permission.
Also, due to the fact that Sony doesn’t even know yet if PlayStation Network user’s credit and debit cards linked with their PSN account is in trouble or not, this may have happened to many PSN users who had their cards tied in with their accounts.

if you noticed this by yourself please PM ill add you to the list , i want to make a list to contact sony !

This is such aload of bollox! This is obviously some bored ass kid, who cant get online, decides to make up a rumour that money has been taken! $600? That is alot of money for a teenager to have, if this was an adult, he would have gone straight to his bank to point out where his money has been taken out from. If it was from sony, he would have the ability to take sony to court. And sue them for millions. This would be broadcasted all over the world, on the news. Not on a forum!

Yeah true, but still CC is secure enough because the bank covers it when some one is doing fraude shit with your CC u can claim it back but still SONY just need to be sure nexttime CC is save, because some ppl can lose up to 2000 dollars by this joke.
