Anyway, i watched a video on youtube (no i didnt search for it purposely) and he said read something about why PSN was down and how it was pretty believable, so i searched it and read a little article and it does make sense.

Basically, a CFW was made and it could make a normal PS3 into a debug unit used by Sony developers, and by having that they could enter any credit card information and download free stuff from PSN, because Sony doesnt check the authenticity of the credit cards because they assume there developers wont steal content.

When i was on the phone to Sony they said it was due to security failure or an unexpected attack (Not From Anonymous)

They also said it may be up within a week or 2 but if not it could take up to a month to re-build PSN

Could be due to the rebug firmware allowing us on dev psn who knows.??

Yeah they are building the whole thing again

They should give us new features for the PS since it may take that long
