I would hope so. I mean they probably fixed everything but trying to improve the system and the server also. They are taking advantage of this time to make it more kickass in a way.

People having been asking for this and Sony has "confirmed" it multiple times since the PS3 came out. Also, there have been even more "my friend knows a guy who knows a chick who has a cousin that works for Sony told me cross-game chat will be coming in the next FW update".

I don't know if they'll go full out party chat right away but most likely start out with a 2 person private chat and then in a few months upgrade to a party chat. But if they do make a party chat that would be AMAZING! =D
