A select group of gamers currently testing the PlayStation Network on behalf of Sony. Below is the SignOfZodiac gamer, who Just uploaded a video on YouTube has posted this. He has also told that there is indeed a new firmware update has come.

He was Probably told not to move, because they might have a new feature and they want you to find out when the update goes live, for the three friends on his psn probably Beta Testers too

Why are you defending him? Obviously this video is fake.
I could see sony doing selected testing but honestly I don't see them doing something like switching it on for a few minutes in the middle of the night or for random people or for a random geographic location for the exact reason that those randomly selected people might leak the test to youtube and incite a panic/rage if the network doesn't start coming online for all of us right away.
If they are doing testing I think it would be controlled and private.

Can't imagine how happy I am right now...
I read on a news blogger for PSN and they said that Sony said this "Thursday May 5, 2011 we will be having 150 gamers try out the PSN to make sure everything is working and secure, If you got an Email that says SONY TESTER/PSN then that means your one of the testers, We as a huge corporation want nothing but the best and most secure online that anything and or system can offer."
I don't have the source on me right now seeing how I'm at school
But when I go home I will add the source.....
DAM I'm GUNNA LISTEN TO THAT SITE MORE OFTEN.....
