Are you high?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); "hey guys Sony here, sorry for being useless and ****ing up huge, to compensate here's a full month of playstation +"

Gee thanks guys! Now you can start recovering losses!

IF this PS+ rumor is accurate then take a step back and think about it.

Sony doesn't give a shit about their customers, this much is abundantly clear. What they do care about is money, and how they can recoup losses.

Lets break it down. Sony dishes out 1 month free PS+ . This allows you access to the free game for the month and discounts on other selected playstation titles.

From my understanding (correct me if I am wrong please) once your PS+ subscription runs out you lose the ability to play your free game. If this is accurate then Sony's take on it will be : Out of the 70million accounts how many will enjoy the free game and purchase an extension to keep playing them.

How many people are going to enjoy this free "preview" of PS+ and continue to subscribe to it?

Is this really a way for Sony to compensate us for their massive **** up (which is still poor compensation in any regards) or is this a way for Sony to promote their under promoted PlayStation+ service .

sony could and should of released ps+ 30 days trial when ps+ first came out

the compensation is more of a ploy to put the trial onto psn

sony probably forgot to add it in and is using psn being down as a cover up to add the trial in

jesus you obv have to much time on your hands with psn being down and all but dont look to far into it. do you really think that sony withh benifit from this? lol. the growth of ps3 has been steady for the last 6 months unlike the xbox 360, i doubt that any gamers would of sold there ps3 because they could go online for 2 weeks lol.

What I want to know is how we're going to use PS+ with the store being down after PSN comes up..

It's probably both, and it's a smart move. Make us happy and potentially gain some extra money.

This makes me think of the fanboy argument that "Micro$oft" is greedy.

This is human nature, its business!
If you were in the hands of Sony Entertainment, I would a sure you would do the same thing!
In the end of the day, this whole world is about money!

Hold on, I post an opinion on the forum, you rage, and then Im the cry baby? Stfu little girl. Go get your free ps+ because your mommies welfare doesn't cover the cost of a sub.

"They need the money for US so that WE can get games blah blah blah" - are you ****ing joking? This is a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION you daft moron. Maybe you need to take a step back and think before you rage out on peoples threads you little bitch. Go back to school. Get educated. Learn to spell. GET BLOCKED

They MAY be a billion dollar company but they just lost millions from PSN being down so I doubt they can afford to give much else. You tell people to get educated yet you seem to think companies will give away millions of dollars just because they are worth money? It's called Capitalism homie. Hell you ever noticed how telethons feature RICH celebrities asking REGULAR people for donations?

A company is still trying to make money regardless of how much they already have ESPECIALLY after losing MILLIONS. So they are doing it as compensation and marketing. Its more than the hackers are giving us.

What do you suggest they do?

Good stuff bro....Honestly in all fairness and kidding aside...I really don't expect anything from sony as a compensation for these 2 weeks of being offline... as long as from now on they promise and strive and do their best to have a SECURE and RELIABLE network... I know there will always be hackers out there, but SONY must stay on top of it.... and not let this happen again...at least not for 2 weeks in a row...
