When the FEDs want to investigate a computer after they arrest someone, most of the time they use a Microsoft tool called "Cofee" - Computer Online Forensic Evidence Extractor. And what it does is basically pull all your information of the computer, emails, passwords, history every thing!
So the cop/fed would have 'Cofee' on a thumb drive and when they plug it into you computer, if you have Decaf setup, it will detect the cofee and lock everything down, so the FBI can't pull out any information from your computer. note this will lock down your computer so be carefull

When the **** did geohot give up? Too crazy to raid? They raided graf_choklos home for him publishing code. All coders know to read the fine print before doing anything.

Bottom line is, short of nuking your HDD, you aren't stopping them if they want your info. They will seize it, and go far more indepth than an MS tool. This litte decaf will stop the guy with the thumb drive, he will take the tower in and then you're screwed anyways.

Just keep everything related to it on an External HDD, and then keep the External drive in your vehicle when not in use (if they raided you, the warrant probably only covers your home, not the vehicle).
