We all know Sony is loosing tons of money due to the outage not to mention the game makers. I doubt many people are buying Socom, B.O. or LB2 when there's no online. Any time a corporation looses money the end user always ends up paying for it. I just wanted to post up and see what everyone else thinks on this. Sure, Sony may give us free dlc when psn comes back online but in what ways down the road so to speak do you think they will try and make their profits back?
I don't think they will charge for PS3 online, but if they make the PS4 then that's when I think they'll charge. One of the PS3's selling points is its' free online service. If it were to to become a paid service then I think they would lose many customers.
I Dont see how they could. ALL of our details were accessed, PSN has been down for about 3 Weeks now. If they did, they would lose a lot of customers. Even More than they have at the moment.
I'm not really talking about them making us pay for online. I seriously doubt they'll go that far. What I'm affraid they'll do is start charging a little more fore dlc, especially on map packs and such.

Ohh I see, Is it up to sony how much game DLC costs? or is it up to the company that made it?
