I went to my PS3 and it said my password is no longer valid. I pressed "Ok." and then the next screen has an error and it returned me to the XMB.

I went to the PSN website to try to sign in, and it said:



My friends have received their resets in 30 minutes or less.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to reset my password? Will creating a new account let me play online?

UPDATE: I tried signing in on a different account, and it would let me change my password right on the PS3.
I tried making a new account and it let me play online too.
It's just my original PSN that doesn't work. I'll call Sony too.

Yup, the email is the same email that I used during registration. It still works, and I can send and receive emails from the account no problem.

I've tried calling Sony, but their support lines are busy. Either that, or they're closed.

You will be on hold for about 10-15 minutes.

I haven't received my email yet as well.
