(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This must be the ultimate dream for a lot of gamers out there, playing games and making money doing so. But how does it really work? How much competence is needed when it comes to programming? How do you get into this line of work.

I've been doing some research because I thought I'd might get the chance to do this sometime in the future. At EA they have a lot of these jobs posted and no specific set of skills needed except a keen sense and analytical abilities while playing games.

Have anyone else looked into this? Could it be that someone on this site even works as a QA at the moment?

I just thought I'd get everyones take on the #1 Dream Job out there Smile

"You may end up on the graveyard shift. You won't make much money. And no one cares about your suggestions for improving the game. Just focus on the bugs, buddy." That seems pretty shitty.

Also this comment was on that site gave me a chuckle.
So the movie Grandma's Boy isn't an acurate portrayal of game testing?Smile
