Sony announced that cross game chat will be available between the PS3 and PSVita (NGP). However they didn't say if it can be used just between PS3 users, they only said it would be available for PS3 and PSvita users so that people can talk, no matter what game you're playing or what platform you are on.

But my question is that I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be available for PS3 users only, like that you could use Cross Game Chat to chat between PS3 users only, and not that you the other guy will have to be using the PSVita. If they don't put it like that, and they only put it that it will be available to chat between different platforms, then I think Sony is just playing with us.

From what I've seen and read, it will just be an PSVita feature so that they can chat with PS3 users.

Q1: Is it because of RAM?

Yet they still can make cross game chat on PS3? if it wasn't possible like you're saying 'because of RAM' then it wouldn't be possible to put it 'cross-platform' which at the end, it is the same thing but just between different platforms, but still will be cross-game chat running on YOUR PS3, using it no matter what game you're playing.
That's why in the thread I said, that if Sony don't implement this feature so that it can be PS3 to PS3 and/or PS3 to PSV cross game chat... they are just playing with us customers.

Q2: Is it because Microsoft owns the patent of cross game chat?
I don't think so, because then they wouldn't be able to even make it possible for the PlayStation Vita.

Q3: Is it because they don't know to do it?
Again, it is already on the PS Vita... it is more like they don't listen to customers, on every new firmware (except the security ones) they bring a new feature... and notice that that feature is never the one we ask for, or the one we really need or want. It is always a random feature.

Leave your comments below, and tell me what you think.

Are you learning English as a second language? Because I cannot translate what you are trying to say. This makes no sense to anyone.

**DISCLAIMER** Know that I am not putting down the PS3 I like it better then the Xbox. I do not own an XBOX.

If it is not the RAM I am curious to find out why BO is so much more laggy on the PS3 then the xbox.
Every time you pull up the invite menu it cuts out the voices of the people in the lobby, and the game lags.

I've always heard the ram was the problem. If they could do cross game chat why haven't they it's been 3+ years. There has to be some pipeline issue, some reason, that the PS3 has this problem and the general lag, that the obvious inferior XBOX doesn't have.

Writing from my ipod sir, that's why there are a lot of words missing -__-

And about B.O. it is much more laggy on PS3 because I think it is one of the worst ports, the game lag even if all the bars are green... even the menu is laggy, so what can you expect? also another reason why the PS3' XMB is more slow, is because -in-game it has every single feature/menu that's on the real XMB (which only like 15% can be used while playing a game). Unlike Xbox that only has the things that can be used while playing a game.

And even like that, on PS3 it is faster to invite people than on Xbox 360, I remember when I was trying to do the glitch to get pro perks and camo's etc on Xbox, I couldn't do it because by the time I was accepting the invite, I was already in the party

World at War is very similar, maybe Treyarch just makes bad ports. Or more likely they want to spend as little time (and money) on different platform versions of the game. MW2 had the best invite system. IDK why all MP games don't have their invite system linked to XMB as well as that did.

Anyways its obvious that their is a giant hurdle for the PS3 programmers to overcome to get cross-game chat since they still haven't been able to put it in, when there is such a demand.

Besides for making the most money, the gay a*s Wii, has beaten them both combined. That makes me very sad.

It's because every dumb ass mom thought there kids would love it and it was cheap so they all bought it.
