ok with freemcboot (my tutorial here: You must login or register to view this content.) you will notice some options in the main menu that wasnt there before. one thing that freemcboot allows you to do is play your ps2 backups burned to a disk or booted off of an hdd. this thread is the disk portion.in the ps2s browser, one new option is ESR. esr, in simple terms, makes the ps2 play a ps2 backup making it think that its booting a DVD movie. to get your ISOs for ps2 disks, i recommend going here:You must login or register to view this content. oh and to see links you need to register and sign in at:You must login or register to view this content.

once you have the ISO of your choice, find and download DVD Decrypter and ESR Disk patcher. search google for dvd decrypter (not img burn. to copy your ps2 games you already own, use dvd decrypter)esr disk patcher can be found here:You must login or register to view this content.

unrar the patcher and run the program. drag and drop the iso you downloaded into the patcher and it will work its magic. (if you get a UDF related error, you found a bad ISO, find another). take this patched ISO and burn it to a DVD-R (must be -R. +R will overwork the laser) with dvd decrypter. look on the disk label and see what the burning speed is. burn at HALF SPEED (8 shown, burn at 4X). take this burned ISO and pop it in your ps2. it will load up ESR automatically. hit the first option. the screen will flash some colors and it will start your game. if it freezes on one of the colors, its a bad ISO, find another. any questions, ask me

if its off one of your own disks then it may be too scratched for DVD decrypter to read it. just download all these links, put them together with 7zip or HJSplit and it will make the san andreas ISO. patch it with the ESR program and then burn it. (this is NTSC links by the way. if you want PAL then say so. also, quote me so i can see you replied)

NTSC is a country code. if you are in North America then you want NTSC games. if you are in another country then you may need a PAL game but I'm sure that this NTSC version is good for you. and if you want to make a new thread i think your post count may need to be higher. not sure i do not remember. the post count is different for where you are posting. and i know a lot about black ops but im not sure what you are saying with the cracks and updates. please elaborate? oh and you do not need a mod chip you just need freemcboot. check my thread here: You must login or register to view this content.
