(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I know this is a long shot, and some have tried it, but what if Sony said yes to the idea of letting us run cfw on our PS3's? What do you think would happen? I personally think it will raise their sales and they will make back all the money they lost for sure because lets face it. PS store has the games and the Sh*t that we want! Lol. Nonetheless what's your thoughts on this subject NGU since the scene has been silent for a while. What do you would think Sony would want? Or do you think that the cfwers should band together and make their own game server that is like PSN, but without the ruling of Sony? I would enjoy to here what you all think.

Feel free to troll. Awesome face

i have a 1Terabyte server, all i need is the PSN clone files...
sony are selfish & dont want us to have access to the ps3s inner files so they wont let us have CFW.

No they wont let us because even if they allow us to use CFW on our PS3's and have the PS store for use with games, that wont stop piracy, remember PSP go was meant to stop piracy by removing the UMD, but ow yes CFW was still there on the PSP Go, CFW will cause piracy Sony don't want that and it will cause us to see the inners of the PS3 software. I'm not bothered about the PS3 hacking CFW most people just want to cause piracy, Hack games them people piss me off. Let me guess you want to do one of them?

No, its really not piracy that makes me so exicted about that. I like the fact I can play games I own without having to swich disc (backups). I enjoy the fact that I can play my once played sega games and GBA games on my PS3. I can play all my psone and ps2 games on my PS3 that's not a problem.
I just don't like that I have to hook up another PS3 just to play CoD online. I want to have everything on one system hints why I bought a PS3 when It came out. It was the the best thing. It wasn' just a game system It was a music play video player computer and a game player not mention online use. Yeah, so what people pirate and I began to after I gave up on Sony, but why should I care if the company doesn't care enough to come to an agreement with hackers? It's not just about Sony it's about what they do and do it to.I love my ps3 and I'll troll on any xbox fanboy that talks down about it, or any system thats not of microsoft genre. Nonetheless An agreement would be nice, so we can all enjoy psn, or Hackers and modders will find a way to get their own.

I would support the idea as long as piracy is not allowed. Let's face it, if it's allowed, developers would basically forget about the PS3.

Look, I share the opinion (and now fact, according to many 'studies'Winky Winky that piracy does not affect sales since about 90% of people that pirate are either just testing the game as a demo, then buy if they like it and delete if they don't, OR pirating game because they are poor/ wouldn't get the game if they couldn't pirate it (ie: they would've never given $$ to the developers, regardless if piracy was possible or not).

BUT we all know developers DO NOT agree with that. And there's nothing you can do.

Plus, I bet that with all the immaturity that now fills the pirate community, kids would pirate games they like (ie: games they WOULD have paid for if piracy was NOT possible) and thus kill the industry on the PS3.

Just my .2 cents. I plan to keep my PS3 on 3.61 and wait for a CFW, even if it takes 8 more months. I just want to do it for the possibility to pirate future games and use them as demos, so I can later decide if I'll buy it or not. No problem at all if I can't though, I'll just use my PC to pirate multi-platform games and see if I like them, and if I do get them for PS3.

Now 20% Cooler
What they NEED to do is make the PS Store like the Apple app store where you can publish your own homebrew games for a price, Sony makes money, We can buy homebrew apps, everyone is a winner. :y:

I would like to see an agreement, as long as people didnt pirate games. Lets face it, if people pirate games, developers would forget about PS3 and maybe future SONY products completely. Then eventually, cause there's no game developers for SONY, there probably wouldn't be a PS4 or PS5 or whatever future products from SONY are called.

They never lost sales from it, PS3's were still selling, they lost money on the stocks tho, and they were still selling games. Yes they might have lost a little bit because DLC was not selling
