The PS4 is being worked on, only an idiot would shifted along what this sony rep says. They won't announce the PS4 obviously because potential customers may wait for that, meaning less profits. Thats the main reason, but also to give competition no insight on the new playstation.

I think Sony is already working on a new model but they are not releasing any information. If they played it smart, they would work on a new model, something 10x better than their current issue. Make other companies think they are serious about not releasing, then let companies like Microsoft release a newer console letting Sony to add whatever else is neccessary onto their, already developed console, to surpass the other consoles just released to appear as the better console that came out of no where.

They are obviously working on something , They're more focused on the Handhelds than Console system, But as soon as the PSVita is out. Expect the newer xbox to come out and Then a while later. A bred between Psvita and the latest xbox, PS4. It takes out the Xbox and changes everything.

I believe that they wouldn't be working on anything. The other consoles are holding the PS3 back, I've been saying that for a long time, especially with Battlefield 3 only running at 720p and 30 FPS, when I'm sure if they created each version to the highest quality it could take, the PS3 would be at least somewhat close to the PC. The PS3 is not being utilized like Sony wanted it to be, because it is the most advanced console on the market today, by leaps and bounds. The fact that there is no PS4 in the works is believable and not surprising.

Jack Tretton is talking out of his arse. We can all see what PCs can do, Faster, smarter CPUs, More cores, New graphics cards coming out each month, SLI/Crossfire and this guy doesn't think the PS3 can get any more advanced? Is he living under the rock for the last 50 years? As soon as something comes out these days it's outdated and something more powerful will be out in a short while.

lol, a PS3 could never compare to a PC.
Look at a PS3 Exclusive with great graphics, then look at any PC game with "decent" graphics and the PC will be ALOT better.
PS3 couldnt come close and with the PS3 being a set spec of hardware, PCs get better and better every day/week/month
Dont get me wrong I <3 my PS3 but PC is ALOT better.
