When will you start talking about PlayStation 4?

PlayStation 3 is really just hitting its stride. And technologically, I don’t think it’s possible to provide any advancement beyond what we have. What we’ve seen from the competition is trying to add features that already exist in PlayStation 3. We invested heavily in that, we rolled a very heavy rock up a steep hill, through the launch period. But now I think that all pays off, and we’ve got a long run way behind it. So, I wouldn’t look for any discussion of a next generation PlayStation for quite some time.

I think there’s ground to be carved out for everybody. But I didn’t see anything about Nintendo’s announcement that said ‘Oh, we’d better get working on rolling out a new PlayStation here pretty soon.’

Our attitude is kind of ‘welcome to the party.’ If you’re looking at being a multimedia entertainment device, if you’re looking at high def gaming, that was 2006 for us. - Jack Tretton

The other consoles are holding the PS3 back, I've been saying that for a long time, especially with Battlefield 3 only running at 720p and 30 FPS, when I'm sure if they created each version to the highest quality it could take, the PS3 would be at least somewhat close to the PC. The PS3 is not being utilized like Sony wanted it to be, because it is the most advanced console on the market today, by leaps and bounds. The fact that there is no PS4 in the works is believable and not surprising.

Developers don't use it's full potential

NO need for PS4 right now PS3 still works great and developers aren't using it's potential

Hmm HD viewing is already good so I don't think we need a PS4 anytime soon anyway but of course its been developed on, it need years of testing if they want to avoid YLOD after 2 years of use Not Happy or Sad

Although I would really like a PS4 with dual core GPU's, more powerful CBE and at least 6GB of RAM.

lol, a PS3 could never compare to a PC.

Look at a PS3 Exclusive with great graphics, then look at any PC game with "decent" graphics and the PC will be ALOT better.
PS3 couldnt come close and with the PS3 being a set spec of hardware, PCs get better and better every day/week/month

Dont get me wrong I <3 my PS3 but PC is ALOT better.

ya, but the ps3 cell processer probaly blows most other processeers atm
