Lagging while playing games
Freezing up
Turned off incorrectly several times in a row

All these things may screw up your ps3 or just make it slow.
It will also fix your bluray drive if it wont read disks.

1.Hold your power button until your ps3 turns off
2.Hold the power button again until it turns on then off again
3.Hold the power button until you hear 3 beeps, then let go.
4.Connect your controller via USB(Or just connect if you use Power A)
5.Choose option "Rebuild Database", It will then rebuild.
6.Repeat Steps 1 through 4
7.Choose option "Rebuild File Base"
8.Once its done rebuilding, Your PS3 will be much faster and the BluRay drive will work if it wasn't reading disks.
9.Test out a game, like Fallout:New Vegas, which can be VERY laggy if your ps3 is slow.

i have about 8 gigs left and i dont think it will take up any harddrive space, so if it doesnt work, ill try to find an answer for you

Plus the categories of games will be deleted. So if you have your games in categories they will be grouped into one category.

i didnt notice that, but i dont really pay attention to that kind of stuff lol

i got one more question,,Is the Loading indicator post to be flashing while its rebuilding?

Nvm, i will wait like 2 or 3 hours, If it is still on 0% Does it mean it frozed?

so all the patches for games will stay cuz i have modded patches that ill like to keep
