I suppose the 4th of July is the best time to announce this news. This is out of the UK where "a Taiwanese manufacturer has claimed that a PlayStation 4 is on track for release in 2012, and that it will feature "body movement-based control like Kinect".
"The source indicated that manufacturing duties will fall to Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, the company that made the PS3, with a minimum of 20 million units planned to ship in 2012."
I have previously stated that I didn't think we would see a PS4 until at least 2014. This is because when they introduced PS MOVE SONY stated this was supposed to inject 5 more years into the PS3's life span. With this news coming out I hope I was wrong, because as we all know the PS3 came out ahead of it's time from a technology stand point so I'm rather excited to see what they can come up with again. Lets see how reliable this news really is, keep your fingers crossed, with that said Have a happy 4th of July everyone.

It's not PS4, it'll be probably Vita, maybe its using high end parts.
Sony won't release PSV and PS4 in the same year or right after each other.

From a business stand point at least to us it doesn't make sense, but the "HACK" cost them about 170 Million TRUST ME THEY HAVE SHARE HOLDERS to answer too. So with that said after that loss and the PSV development I don't know if they will want to spend god knows how much in the PS4 or ? development to much to soon but all this could also be the reason why they do it to dominate the market two new consoles and a TABLET so who knows.

i wont get the ps4 for a couple years anyway but im hoping sony dont release it until 2014/15 because i have trophies to work on
