(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I bought a YLOD ps3 from my friend at school, and then fixed it (and now he is so pissed haha) with a hairdryer - but my question is... How LONG will that fix last?

There is no way to determine exactly how long your PS3 will last, but it could be anywhere from a few hours to a few months. I had a friend who managed to fix his for about 2 months, but it eventually died.

I just suggest not moving it, and keeping it in a dust free environment.

Could you not just sell it to your local Game Store (Or Similar Gaming Stores)?
And put that money towards a new one if you need it?

Climbing up the ladder
there are plenty of fixes (sorry but do not try the oven fix!!!) on the general section for YLOD Just search for mine if you like!! Ok it normally only lasts about 3-4 months but you can keep doing it giving you the time to save up for a better one!!! Also at the same time as you have the items to hand you can then solder the wire that is held on by tape!!!

By the way why have you got a video camera in your room?? Just hoping you would post what you are videoing!!!!!! Ha ha ha :2k7:
