(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've played CoD a lot on my PS3 and the internet has run flawlessly. But, for some reason, instead of a 3 - 4 bar every game, I always get a 1 - 2 bar. This has only happened once before, and I fixed it, but that same fix didn't work this time. I've also tried running wired, it didn't help at all. It does this with my Xbox aswell so I know the problem isn't with my PS3.

Any idea's on what's wrong?

I have already put it in DMZ. I have also forwarded all the needed ports. I have made a static IP for my PS3 so it can't change.

1) I've had over 5 devices running on my internet at once, and I 4 barred on every host, including mine. (My PS3, Moms Laptop, Stepdad's Laptop, Sister's Laptop, Sister's BF's laptop).
2) I do 4 Bar every time I host, all other players 1 bar.
3) Does the torrent program upload things by itself? Because me nor my sister's bf upload anything via torrent manually.

I suggest you look over your previous settings, because it's obviously not in DMZ.

I know I put it in DMZ because I re-did it earlier today.

1.) try to deactivate or just dissconnect anything that is not being used. I.E if a computor is not being used then disconnect the Ethernet cable, if your not using the laptop turn the wireless switch to off.
2.) Ok then you must have most :P
3.) yea if you still have the files in the orignal folder or area were it was put & the program is open the it uploads it so other peoples download goes faster. Thats how the whole seeds & peers work. I believe the more peers the faster especially if the seed number is small. If the seed number is big & the peer number is small then basically your going to have to do this over night or when you have alot of time that does not use internet.

I'm going to look in that tomorrow when he is awake. Thanks for the info, I never knew how the whole seeding thing worked. Smile

@ Anyone
Would disabling UPnP on my PS3 help or make it worse?

man i had this happen and my isp had to reconfigure my network :( but mine was so laggy that i couldnt move hardly at all 1 got a 30mb/sec connection and before they fixed it i was getting like a little better than dial up speed
but if you use torrent sites they might be still uploading even after the download shut down your computers or just close the p2p application and see if it gets better
