They had better allow for backwards compatibility with older PS3 controllers. Sony's design for controller is (in my opinion), the best thing since SNES. This new one looks like an ugly redesigned Dreamcast controller with a VMU. I'd rather use my PS3 controller and an attachment for the screen. I can't help but feel they are slapping in this screen because Nintendo are using a bigger version for the Wii U.

"PlayStation Gaming Community" sounds like something the PS3 was supposed to do, while people play games they can use their camera to chat with people via video. It seems they can't do basic cross gaming chat, so they've had to improve it a lot to make it something MS can't bitch about (since they hold the patent apparently). I like the idea of a battery for emergencies, so it could allow people to use the screen on controller to shut the console down without losing data, but jumping between battery and mains is going to kill the battery. You're not supposed to constantly drain and recharge devices.

I thought I read somewhere that they weren't going to spend as much on the PS4 as they did on the PS3. If that's true, most of those features won't be included if any.
