With rumors that Sony could start producing in late 2011, the PS4, Joseph has shared some interesting Dumary complete concepts, technology, futuristic PlayStation 4.
Below is a summary of the potential to be the new home console PlayStation 4, features and specifications are based on the concept that we announced José Dumary, as follows:

PlayStation 4 will be part of the line PlayEco: that uses 0 watts in standby mode.
★ Restart Function: allows gamers to save their game progress and turn off the console, then back on and resume the game without having to load everything again, starting from where they left off.
★ The PS4 will automatically turn off the main power: after each 30 minutes of playing time and will draw power from a rechargeable battery 5 minutes.
★ Playr (playreserve) Rechargeable Battery: also helps prevent data loss during a power outage.
★ PS4 offers an attractive retro design: it looks like a cross between a PlayStation 2 Slim and a memory card.
★ The PlayStation 4 will be carried out, 60% recycled material, an alloy of magnesium and carbon (25%).
★ The PS4 will be light and efficient: only weighs 2.1 kg and consumes only 90 watts. ★ The PS4 will be compatible with PS Vita: allowing players to use as a remote control to browse the Internet or play some games with the ability to touch the handheld console.

if this is all real i will defo get one. it will probably be around £400 though if all of that is included :/

I wonder how they could use only a few watts and still output high end graphics? These chips gets hot when used. Come to think about it, will this also support the same texture tech as what our PCs do with DX11 (tesselation etc), and what polygon rate will this be capable of i wonder?

it shouldnt be more than £300-£400 bcuz its 60% recycled material so nice way to keep the price from being high

I'm hoping for some PS3 backward compatibility. I just think it's far too soon to discontinue the PS3 with this console. Still, this looks impressive.
