Post: Transfering modded patch with backup utility?
08-06-2011, 03:42 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Pretty simple. Seeing as you can transfer the data and back it up to say ooo a usb? can't you transfer the information Over the web (if someone has enough patients) or can you rip it out of the usb at all? If we were able to do that isnt it possible to transfer modded patches as well? from some one who has 3.55 and 3 modded patches to a 3.66 system?

Thanks!

I don't think this will work... but you can research more about it. I am 100% sure this was tried before. But i dont think it worked or it would be all over NGU.

Nope, as posted above the backups are console specific.

It would be easier and faster just to data transfer.

Face it people, if there was another way to get patches on a 3.70(or any other) machine, they would be widely documented.

One would just update normally. Patches are not over written when updating FW. I kept a 1.11 patch on my PS3 until 1.12 came, when 3.56 dropped.
