Final Fantasy X remake got announced and I was just wondering what you guys think of it?

I'm sure it will probably just become a remastered games! but yeah, is anyone else excited for this?
One of my favourite RPG's of all time and I for one am extremely excited, No news on a release date but it's also going to be available on PSVita so Im guessing early next year?

I just find it very strange that fans have been calling for a remake of FFVI and VII for years yet they decide to rehash a game that is regarded as one of the worst in the series, don't get me wrong I like X but i've played through it once and that was enough. This whole craze of updating games from the previous gen with nothing more than HD graphics is starting to bug me, I want new ips, not games I played 10 years ago with a minor facelift.

I understand where your coming from but I think HD remastered games give players the opportunity to play some games that they never could get their hands on. I have no idea why it was regarded one of the worst in the series. I loved it! and most people that I know said they loved it!

But that is my opinion!

I'm beyond excited for this remake or more likely HD version of it. I loved Final Fantasy X and don't get, but can understand that hate on it. Not everyone is going to like a game, but I love the whole final fantasy series. I've been hoping for this along with X-2, which is alright, and XII which is probably in my top 3 of best final fantasy games.

I just feel the whole HD remake is starting to go too far now, what worries me most is if these collections end up selling better than some of the actual PS3 titles we may just start to see nothing but these from some companies.

My friend lent this game to me when I was around 11 or 12 years old. Didn't even get to finish it . But, from what I played, I gotta say this game was one of the most amazing games I've ever encountered. Sometimes you just gotta take a break from shooters for awhile. Personally, I can't wait till this comes out. Haven't played this game in over 7 years! Thanks for the info man!

I love all Final Fantasy games, sure it did take me a while to get into FFXII but what I played of it was pretty awsome! I would love to see that aswell as I have two PS2 copies but not a PS2 anymore so it would be awsome! A lot of people did not like X-2 mainly because it was not a good sequel to FFX but it was a good game, if that makes any sense at all haha!



I wouldn't actually mind all these HD remakes if im honest, because most games nowadays compete for the best multiplayer service and let's face it most games hitting the shelves are FPS games.

I know man it's been about that long for me also, It is such a good game and it being remade gives us the opportunity to play it again in HD and no worries man.

I understand what you're saying about competing for the best multiplayer to be fair, i'm all for the single player experience coming first, it would just be nice to see some of the creative thinking that made some of the games being released on the HD collections great being put to use on new ips which seem to be lacking of late.

LOL something tells me developers are ether lazy as f**k or just cant think of anything original.
NOT THAT i'M COMPLAINING THO, seriously most developers just cant make games like they used to in my opinion.

I guess looking at your list at least for now most of the games they are doing are classic titles, i'd possibly be tempted by some of them if they were getting released digitally for a few £ a piece just for nostalgia reasons, but really rather be hearing them announce a new abe or zoe game in the series,
