Post: Ethernet cable increase Mbps?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My download speed on my ps3 is 96mbps and upload is like 37mbps and the signal strength is 100%... If I get a Ethernet cable from my router to my ps3 will it increase my download and upload speed? or is there another way to get a better connection?

Around 90 bucks/ month give or take a few bucks you should be able to get lower speeds than mine for cheaper though. 100mb/sec is kind of over kill to be honest I suggest around 25-50mb should be plenty. The only true advantage I see with my 100mb is i pull host 99% of the time vs around 40% or so on 25. On both connections the download was so much that if i was downloading a ps3 game from megaupload i would have to wait to start a new part because you have to wait 15 min to download a new file. :lol:

Pretty much this, wired connection is far more stable and secure than wireless.
