If they did ban people who did the prestige hack, then yes they would ban you because how the hell are they supposed to know if you did the hack or not? You still went to look for it and asked somebody to do it, so thats good enough for them.

You probs wont be banned, they'de have to ban half of their online communty, they'de prebably just reset your acount.

PSN are very slack at serving bans but on Xbox Live they would get the ban instantly because all the producers and developers play MW2 on the Xbox.

i got banned recently for like 5 hours while glitching they diud not tell me i got banned i just could not sign in with my cool_nerds account but could sign in with my other accounts and i could still get on the internet with cool_nerds
