Ylod doesnt necessarily mean its 1 problem, the yellow light of death simply indicates theres a hardware failure somewhere within the system so reflowing may not necessarily make any difference to your ylod console. But the main reason that causes Ylod is because overtime and heavy use the processor gets so hot that it liquifies the solder points on the GPU causing connection loss with the motherboard overtime. Reballing fixes that connection problem with the GPU and the motherboard - Reballing is like a brand new ps3 Reflowing is band aid.

Alright...I dont know of im going to reball or reflow, probably reflow as i have just bought artic silver 5, will most likely get to it this weekend

unless you have a bga reballing machine, the best you can do is a homemade reflow (wont last to long)
