Modify hardware to run back ups, free games, easy trophies, nodded games, and a crap load of other things.

I updated mine a while back I dont think it is worth i remember i updated from 3.41 to get the first godlymods patch when it first came out for ps3 was NOT worth it in the end

Try going online with a 3.55 modified firmware. Once you do enjoy your ban. Only way I know is by xLinkKai

Not playing online is the only con. But who gives a crap about online? Tons more you can do with CFW.
