I would say dont update it. You can do so much with a jailbroken Ps3. The only thing is you would not be able to go online. Not to get your hopes down, but I doubt that the ps3 will come on 3.55 Firmware.

I know that there is a small chance but hey you never now. I will do an unboxing video of it just to show it if any of you guys are interested. but I'm still looking for some input.
