He reiterated that install packages function works fine in 4.10 but the team who is working on the jailbreak unable to run apps in either 4.00 or 4.10 which they still need to find the exploit for.
KaKaRoTo later advises not to upgrade to the latest PS3 firmware unless it is really needed. 4.00 HEN (Homebrew ENabler) has been announced since November last year.

for all you people hating on Kakaroto, you're in no place to whine and groan. if you're whining and hating, it must mean you've done something to contribute to the scene more than him. what might that be?

when i get time, i might end up jumping in to see if i can assist with the ECDSA Algorithm that he's having so much trouble with, but i'm not really a genius when it comes to the ps3's security software. but anyways, you don't see me bitching and whining about him taking so long to hack and chop his way through Sony's secure system, do you? Exploiting vulnerability isn't as easy as it sounds, it takes time and effort to fully understand and build upon it.

long story short, the more you bitch and complain at Kakaroto, the more time he won't be spending on this project.

i hope they dont remake a new CFW/JB etc. cause then the we will have 12 yearolds Messing up MW3 and so own .. :/ but then again Backing up Games is pretty amazing

And what, is that suppose to mean i like it? what if i just play it to play it? call of duty is good, MW2 and 3 are not, Word at war, Cod 4 and Black ops were good, and any one can put random prestige icons on there profile.
