(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have information on a major problem with the PS3 system, it crashes about a month or so after the last system update. My proof came directly from Sony, they have had over 1 million systems going in for repairs in just the past 2 weeks. I own PS3 systems and they both crashed within 2 weeks of each other. The cause so far is the latest 2.41 update. Here is what happened to both of my systems;
1) system logs you out of the network.
2) turns it self off in the middle of a game.
3) changes ports in your router and changes IP addresses.
4) games & movies don't load.
These are just a few of the problems I have had to deal with, and Sony will not officially say that their updates have anything to do with it, but you tell me WTF is happening? If you ask me they ( Sony ) wants the systems to crash so you have to sent it in for repairs or better off come up with another $600.00 plus tax and buy a new PS3 system. So in closing call Sony @ 1-800-345-7669 an ask them for answers.

only heard of number 3 and one of number 4 but i havent had one problem i just get some connection sways but nothing that boots me. 60 gb ps3 stayin strong!

I have been disconnected goes back to lobby in a middle of a game that i need a network connection to play online but never disconnects from internet, could be my router, so for 2, 3, 4 has not happened yet

i havnt had these problems but i hav had a problem...since the update, when im playin COD4 n my friend invites to a game, it wont connect and then it will send me back to the main menu and just freeze for about 5 mins... its really annoying it also freezes when im on the internet, once again since the update. O, and whenever i quit a game, it will log me out but thts been going on b4 the update. still, many ppl hav had new or in my case more problems since the update. sony needs to come out with the next update and fix all of this.....

next time don't advertise it to every person that has ps3 because it none of them have happened to me rep-
