(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering this because of the recent rumors circulating about the next generation systems and i was wondering if anybody thinks or knows if they plan on transferring over PSN screennames or XBL gamertags?
Personally without knowing much about this I would take a pretty good guess and say there going to transfer over because it seems like too big of a hassle to set up a whole new ID system and i think many people would be mad but starting over would seem kind of fun!

well i know if ps4 or new xbox comes out soon either way if we cant carry over the names then not so great but also good at the same time ps4=3 letter psn Happy

That was exactly what i was thinking about, like being able to make a cool name! Even thought i would get a cool new name I would rather them carry over!!

If they didnt carry the names over i would litterally sit there the whole day making rare PSN ID's Happy

or to make someone mad, you can copy their ps3's network id and make it yours on ps4's network:carling:
if it is different. i hope we get better networking so much.:blank:

Do you think it is possible for them to pimp the networking without making it so we start from fresh?

Honestly, if I wasn't able to keep my name and had to start over.. I'd probably quit console gaming all together and invest my money into a nice gaming PC and start playing single player or begin to learn to mod current games and setup private lobbies.

That wouldn't make a lot of sense for the network to start over. Think of backwards compatible consoles that will surely come out. It would be a total pain in the ass to have to start over on EVERYTHING. I think they will be playing on the same (but upgraded) network. PSN ID's will not be reset.
