I'm not being smart but honestly if your download is taking a long time..Try get better internet?

Yea, it's your internet connection, If you are using wireless, try using a cable it will go (a bit) faster. Smile

The only thing can can make your download faster is searching for problems in your LAN (i.e. slow W-Lan or broken cable) or use a faster internet connection. Maybe you can try your downloads to an other time, where less people are logged in to the PSN.

I'm sorry, but there is no "trick" or something similar to increase the download speed of your PS3.

Plug in a Ethernet cord and it should go faster!

To increase speed you must stop all downloads on every other computer/console connecting to your router to increase bandwidth

You can also just delete old downloads which you don't use anymore e.g. black b0x if you ever jailbroke in the past.

Try turning other systems off aswell, might help Smile

+1. This right here. Make sure nothing else is eating up bandwidth at the same time. It can make quite a difference.
