As of right now, The only way was to buy one of the first batches of LBP GoTY edition, For Mod nation. Other games have their own methods, Which will usually be announced on PSB.

there two types of beta testers.

closed beta testers who get the beta long time before it goes open and get given codes for games to test and report bugs/giltches etc.

open beta testers who either apply/sign up for a beta i.e uncharted 2 when that was released to the public weeks ago.


its ALOT harder becoming a closed beta tester as they very rarely take more people on, but if you keep your eyes open then im sure you'll be able to get open betas if your quick enough to enter for them
