(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm having a problem with my PS3 where it won't read any discs at all. Is there a way to fix it or di I have to send it in to Sony. And how much would it cost to have it fix. It is out of warranty

It may be your disks. How many did you try? But if the warranty isn't up then you can get a Slim for free Smile (or another obese if you don't like slim).

You don't have to open the PS3 to clean the Blu-Ray drive, just get a can of compressed air and GENTLY squeeze the trigger while the nozzle is about a half-inch away from the opening--but do it in bursts, don't hold the trigger down. There are videos tutorials on YouTube on this exact method that give other helpful tips.

ya but if the lens has dirt, dust, smudge or something covering it, you can clean it off with a q-tip or whatever

ok, I might try the air thing, but I don't want to take apart my PS3 cause I'd probably ruin something

Ok, this is what sony told me to do before they confirmed fixing it, going onto the normal channel with out your HDMI cable & putting in a normal dvd - see if it reads.. If that work you'll have to reset your ps3 put make sure you de-activate your account or you will so many spaces left.

Ring sony and it depends where you are $£60-$£130?

I don't know hope I've helped you out!
