(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm having a problem with my PS3 where it won't read any discs at all. Is there a way to fix it or di I have to send it in to Sony. And how much would it cost to have it fix. It is out of warranty

Yup. If it isn't up, then you can get a new system, and I'm pretty sure you can get a slim if you want, but not sure. But you can DEFINITELY get a new PS3.

called sony and they said it would cost 150 dollars to repair it. I'm seeing if my local gamestop will repair it for a lower price or at least do it quicker

EDIT; I found a guy who does repairs and says he'll be done by tomorrow, he said the max he will charge is $50-130 which is a plus

It also brings to mind how much a guy can make repairing consoles, at about $100 a pop it seems a guy could make a living

Go to a local comp store and get them to replace the blue ray lens.
