So in order to do this hack online, you need to bypass the patch, and then the only way to get in a lobby with the patch blocked is to join a game from your friends list? Correct?

Correct. But sometimes you will Freeze. Some people say all you can just click Join game but you can only play with people who have also bypassed the patch

You should try to make a Video with your Tutorial. This Tutorial and Video Works still just not online anymore if you want to use it online then you will need to bypass.
