how did you repair it the first time? Did you take it to someone or do it yourself?

I had the YLOD three times on my PS3 which I had a local repair guy fix. I ended up just buying a new one. Sick of taking it in every other week for home slice to reset the chips

I contacted Sony and they sent me a letter and somebody came and picked my PS3 up, they sent it to TCR (Total Console Repair) and ive only had it for about 2 months and now its broke again, what should i do??

Get and new PS3 and make sure it has breathing space/ 7 - 10cm away from wall or what evers supporting it.

as the poster said above you need to leave plenty of breathing room. I think you get a warranty again when you pay for Sony to replace it. give them a call and they should be able to direct you.

oh ok. Well since it was replaced under warranty or insurance... you'll probably have to pay to have it repaired. For my PS3 it was $150 USD to send it into Sony to repair plus the shipping costs to get it there. I found a local guy to repair it for $75. I can give you his info if you want to ship it to him, but he's in the states so that might not make sense.

you could try and repair it yourself. there are a ton of guides on how to do so. I'll try and dig up a link for you.

I ended up just buying a new one... PS3 slim
