It seems like some members from TRSI has shared with us a video that shows them running Linux on a 4.01 Firmware. They also had ran a Mario Emulator. We can't fully confirm this, but it kinda does look real. In my opinion, it's a 50/50 since when they go into the PS4 Web Browser, the video automatically skips into the Linux Part, so no one can't fully confirm this at this point. Everyone is still trying to figure it out, but most Devs are confirming it as it is true.

Guys take note that this might be fake as I clearly see an edit in the video right before the Linux Booting Installation. They could've edited it from another firmware. I'll get an official confirmation on this soon for you all.

We're getting some positive feedback on this since Geohot was at the convention with the the Taichin tech hackers.
