It seems like some members from TRSI has shared with us a video that shows them running Linux on a 4.01 Firmware. They also had ran a Mario Emulator. We can't fully confirm this, but it kinda does look real. In my opinion, it's a 50/50 since when they go into the PS4 Web Browser, the video automatically skips into the Linux Part, so no one can't fully confirm this at this point. Everyone is still trying to figure it out, but most Devs are confirming it as it is true.

well sony pushed out a non optional update today..

Most likely the 4.05 update confirmed the 4.01 Linux.

update or dont update? lol. it'd be nice to see a 4.01 bootloader. maybe a xml bypasser made for 4.x. i'll wait it out for a week to see
