I wouldn't want some trophy inadvertently popped ...
While I haven't used the saves in this set, knowing what I do about the game, I don't think a starter save would automatically pop any trophies. But you can always check on a dummy account first.
If you're just after max stats, not a particular trophy in this save set, but are worried about trophy order, you can always use Save Wizard to give yourself max stats. Worried about trophy legitmacy you'd need to get past the first boss before raising stats and using a starter save anyway, which would involving popping - I think - the first two trophies of the game, maybe three. After that you could use Save Wizard to max out your souls BUT definitely keep it offline if you do that or else the game will know you've edited your souls and you'll risk getting slapped with a server ban and have to deal with annoying messages all the time. Use those maxed out souls to bring yourself up to level 85 or 90 or so (in this one, if you go to 99, you lock yourself out of a certain quest line and I think a trophy because of that - and your stats don't increase much after level 50 anyway).
If you want to max out your souls without making the game suspicious you can manually edit the amount of items you have that give you souls when you use them, like "soul of a proud warrior". But it takes a really. Long. Time.
