To be honest I don't think he is that hard. Open up with some launch attacks when he spawns as the fight begins. That way you get a couple of shots in already before the fight ‘starts'. Just keep using launch and Pierce, kill the flying Hiss that he spawns and just keep dashing and regenerating your energy. Always focus him. The Hiss beast that spawns and can oneshot you can be ignored. When it goes invisible and then reappears, it makes a loud sound which will give you a heads up to just dash away so the attack won't hit you. Just keep throwing everything you got on him and he goes down really fast

Sorry for the double post but I have a problem:
So the trophy for 15 side missions and 100% ability upgrades didn't pop with these provided saves. I then deleted them and continued on my own save. Even though I have now done all my side missions and all my ability upgrades (on my own save, the legit way) they still didn't pop. Anyone got any tips? So they are bugged forever now or something? 😞

When you deleted them, did you delete all saves for the game off your system?
I'm not familiar with the game, but it might be worth looking up to see if anyone else has reported either the trophies or achievements to be glitched, and if so potential workarounds.
If all else fails, I'd do a system initialization but first sync any trophies you want to sync. That should wipe the game's trophy data off your PS4, so if it's glitched on you, you'd be able to hit the triggers for those trophies again hopefully without glitches. Hopefully you have the backups of your saves still, so you can try to pop them.

Thanks for the reply! I didn't know it was possible to do something like a system initialization. There seems to be no problem witj both trophies except for me. I deleted all saves from my system before playing again on my own save. The thing is, the game has around 13 save files including a seperate one called ‘trophies' and I think that one got fucked when resigning. I've tried every method, even with the back ups of my own saves but they can't pop anymore because I think the system thinks I already have them on my account. Just sucks because I absolutely loved the game but am now unable to get the platinum...
The saves for both 15 side missions and 100% ability upgrades had some corrupt files when resigning so I think that somehow messed up my trophy list.

If you're not familiar with system initializations, I'd read up on them first (not just having someone like me describe them) so that you see all the steps and so that you're fully comfortable that you've backed up everything you need to back up first. I've done them before without issue, but you will lose game data, trophy data, saved games, everything. So back up everything you want to, like saved games, and sync your trophies. After it's done you'll need to download and reinstall games again. But it will then be like playing Control on a different PS4, meaning you can earn all trophies again. Even the very first trophy you earned, it becomes earnable again (it can actually get kind of annoying in a game you load up for the first time and it auto-pops a bunch of trophies that are already synced to your account). If you've ever transferred PS4s, think that but without actually needing to buy a new console.
A less invasive method might be to delete your user account off the PS4, then add it back. I think that might delete your trophy data from the console but I'm not positive. If this works you wouldn't need to download and reinstall games. It would also take less time.

My region is CUSA11461
Doing the re-region, the only thing that can be done is SAVE00
Trophies and Preferences cannot export / import.
Therefore, it will only serve to those who have the same region of the game.
Using only SAVE00 will not popped the trophy ...
I tried with the War Games trophy and it didn't work.
It is probably necessary to assign SAVE00, Trophies and Preferences saves for the trophy to work.
If anyone has any ideas or solutions let me know ...

That's often the case with re-regioning. Since you can only re-region saves if there's Advanced Mode, that also means if there are no codes for a particular save file, there's no Advanced Mode for that save file either. Usually there are no codes for things like preferences and profile files, although there are certainly exceptions.
