But if Sony really has settled on a release date for PS4 internally, it would suggest that the firm is relatively far along in the console's production.

Tbh im excited and want it to be released but at the same time i dont want them to rush it, aslong as microsoft remains hush sony should, you know if sony was to say a released date microsoft would go release a month or two earlier and i think sony would do the same this time around too.

If Microsoft is gonna release on purpose to f*k with Sony their dumb as hell. This is indicating that their afraid of Sony, and then they will launch a device just to launch it which would be unlikely to me?!

both companies want t be first, and if one says a release date the other will beat it, as they will want all the sales and if people buy that first console theyre more than likely not going to buy the other console. the majority wont some will but it wont be huge amounts.

I will buy it, but not as soon as it is released. Think about it, if they try to speed up the production then maybe the first set of PS4 will have some errors or some shit that the other set will not, so, I will wait a little maybe 1 or 2 months after release.

well thats what warranty is for, if it breaks then you take it back for a straight swap of a new console.

i highly doubt Microsoft would do that. im sure they don't want to rush it either. i still think Microsoft is changing tactics with who they are mass targeting and what their grand scheme is. didnt they already push back their first official announcement that was gonna confirm or deny all rumors? anyway i could care less, gamers are pretty much gonna buy the console brand they know and love. some will buy both eventually.
as to the main article talking about ps4 launch date..... im not really sure if ill pick one up right away, depends if i stashed enough money to pick it up on release. im really hoping for late November early December release in NA market

im not worried about it breaking, its new and comes with a warranty. im not worried about the errors etc... it should be expected as a new console, happens to both companies. doesn't matter if they speed up production or not, i guarantee either way there are gonna be alot of bugs to work out.

Nice, I can not wait to get my hands on the Ps4. Hopefully there are some modern games for it a few weeks after it comes out as well Happy. Holiday is the best time for them to release it due to increasing sales as well, smart move Sony.

I know you have more knowledge then I do for both systems but, Do you think Microsoft is afraid to release any information of the new XBOX 720 because of the PS4 unveil of specs & features will be more superior?
