Post: Just me?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey there, ive been thinking of this for a while now, i dont really think that the hardware in the new PS4 will be that great considering the specs ive read on the internet, i mean they will be better then the PS3 but what im hoping is that once the PS4 is released after a year or 2 they release another PS4 like they usually release a smaller more efficient version of the console, what im hoping is that instead of making the console smaller, they make it "better."

What i mean by better is that they "upgrade" the parts, seeing as they're turning the PS4 into a type of PC with the parts, I reckon they should update the PS4 in order for game developers can enhance the games they make even more with better graphics. Now im not a graphics driven gamer, i prefer gameplay over graphics for a game any day, but i wouldnt mind them upgrading the parts if they end up selling an "improved" version of the PS4 because they inevitably will most likely will & sticking with the whole PS4 is like a PC situation, they could upgrade the parts (GPU & CPU etc...) so you're not paying for basically the same PS4 you already have apart from a bit more memory.

What are your thoughts though? Do you agree with me, or are you not too fussed? love to hear what you think. Smile

EDIT: After re-reading what i put, i forgot to mention that this is speculation and not to be taken as literal, what i mean by that is, the idea would be cool, but clearly with all the certain complexities involved in doing this it wouldnt be ideal, never expected this to happen, but some must of thought that i ment it as that it would happen, i thought it would be a cool idea, but nothing else, hope this clears things up. Smile

Even the spec's that SHOULD work for specific games don't... I have a "hardcore" PC with dualGPU, when Crysis 2 was released (which is from Crytek, that also ofc released Crysis 1, which is known for its awesome graphics that's even used as a benchmark for hardcore PC's) it didn't even have support for Crossfire!! Seriously!? The ONE company that is known to push the PC's limits, and they don't have support for crossfire? It took those lasy bastards 6 MONTHS before they accepted it was their fault and tried to fix it.... the fun thing, it worked perfectly on the demo..

Every game I've played worked Day 1 on PC, sure it wasn't perfect but neither are console games. Infact the worst experience for me WAS a console game, Black Ops II for ps3, it took them a whole month before I could even play the damn game and by then I lost interest. It's been a long time since any system didn't have day one patches. The ps3 does, the xbox does, and the next generation will.

Regarding Crysis 2, I'm pretty sure they had some kind of agreement with Nvidia, as cheap as it sounds, it happens. Any possible market is first a business. While I won't dive into details but the main problem with computers is that, windows is not a dedicated game OS. Your computer has tons of different things going off, sometimes its not the developers fault.

I've never had a computer game simply refuse to work for me. It's always someones fault and 99.9% its the consumer not the developer.
