According to several reports, including one from a You must login or register to view this content. and one from You must login or register to view this content., the You must login or register to view this content. briefly listed a page for PlayStation 4 that included a model (250GB hdd) and a price.


That price was €399 which would probably mean a $400 price tag in the US and around £350 here in the UK. That’s for what we assume would be the basic model, with the smallest hard drive size. Expect a higher price for a larger hard disk, that fancy new PSEye camera array and perhaps a Move controller bundled in with it. Perhaps we’ll also see a nice PS4 and Vita bundle, too.


The page has since been removed but there are enough corroborating reports to indicate there’s some truth to this (although screengrabs next time, gents!)

Personally i hope there is a 1TB HDD option 250gb is nothing nowdays. hopefully thats just a cheap/basic version. but for all we know it could be fake.

Yea. I think 250-400 GB is good enough for if I need to upgrade in the future I would most likely buy a 1TB HD, but only if I absolutley need to.

Actually USD/CDN is at around $1.01 and UK currency is $1.35 so you're looking at a 260-330 price tag in the UK.

£300 would be nice but we always get an unusual extra on-top of whatever the cost is, typical UK prices.

I wouldn't spend more than $500 on the PS4 or any console in general. That's a bit pricy to be honest if that's the real price. Here in Egypt, they add a extra $100+ for "shipping" even though they take it as self profit.

£350 ill be snapping one of those up, maybe aswell just buy harddrive from amazon, if its anything like the ps3 and xbox 360

ive had ps3 and xbox 250gb consoles from when they came out and ive only used around 100GB of data on them so id be happy with a 250gb console thanks for post

250g isnt bad for a starting model, fingers crossed that thats the lowest it goes HDD wise. and if it is 400 dollars then i suppose ill be waiting in line with some of you on here to pick up my new console haha.

250Gb hardware for the basic version sounds about right, don't think we are going to see a 500Gb version in the basic could be wrong.
Hope we see being able to change the HDDs again.

Like anything though if its $400 all they will do is change the $ to a £.
