Post: Question About Preorder
06-19-2013, 06:25 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am located in Australia and the price for the PS4 here with no games included is $550, the games cost around $100 here and the PS Plus costs $70, so all that together is going to cost $720.
On Amazon.com there is a deal available where you can get the PS4, one year of PS Plus and Battlefield 4; this costs $500. Now I know that the PS4 will work here and if I was to buy a PS4 game here in Australia it would work because the PS4 is region-free, but will the PS Plus work? Or would I need a US PSN account? If it doesn't work I would just buy the PS4 and Battlefield 4 on Amazon and buy the PS Plus online Smile

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

You could make a US account, use the ps+ on it and then use your Australian account to play on. You only need ps+ on one account on your ps4 to play online. (At least that is what I understood)

Oh yes, they did say that Smile
Do you know if the tax is too much for bringing it into Australia?

I am not sure how much the tax is over there. I am pretty sure that the bundle you are talking about in America is also $500 without tax.

Just add all the items to the basket and proceed to the checkout.

Before completing the payment, it will give you all the prices including any import/export tax.
You can always cancel the order at this point.

It would work if you used a US account. If I were you though, I would buy from Amazon.co.uk, the EU PS+ Games are generally better than the US things. But yes, it will work.

Yes, unfortunately the UK is plagued with taxes. Therefore we're paying nearly as many pounds as the US pay in dollars. *sigh*
