I am just saying they dont want server hold down so they may just reset unused accounts and banned accounts like xbox did.

a banned account will be banned, its not a ps3 account its a sony entertainment network account. so banned on one will be banned on it all i assume

Most logically the following will occur:

They will either lift all bans and reset banned and unused accounts.
They will leave banned accounts banned on PS3 but reset them to access PS4 if chosen.
They will leave the accounts banned.

PSN is the whole main thing for online. If you get banned on PS2 for example, you will be banned on PSVita, PS3, PS1, PS4 all the PS NETWORK!! So yes, you will be banned Smile
